What’s a short cruise away

Mission Bay RV Resort golf cart rental FAQ
No. The resort doesn’t rent golf carts from its front office, but it does let guests have one on site: you can bring your own or have one delivered. Most guests have one delivered, and that’s what we do.
Yes, and delivery is free: the resort is one of our two free delivery zones, alongside neighboring Campland on the Bay. We leave the cart in the public parking lot just outside the resort entrance, and that’s the same spot you leave it at the end.
A brand-new 6-seat street-legal cart is from $160 for the first day and $130 for each additional day, plus tax, with a $200 refundable deposit returned after the cart comes back. Delivery to the resort is free. The resort charges its own golf cart fee of $10 a day for a cart on site. That’s the resort’s fee, not ours, so check with them before you arrive.
Inside the resort the limit is 5 mph, and carts stay on the roadways: they’re not allowed on sidewalks, patios or public areas. Declare the cart at check-in so the resort can tag it. Our Mission Bay RV Resort rules summary covers the rest.
Our carts are street-legal Low-Speed Vehicles, so you can drive them on public roads posted 35 mph or under. That covers Mission Bay Park, De Anza Cove, Pacific Beach and Mission Beach. The boardwalk itself is closed to vehicles, so park at the edge and walk.
Drivers must be 21 or older with a valid driver’s license. ID verification and the rental agreement are completed online before pickup, so there’s nothing to sign in person.
