Yes — our carts are CA DMV-registered, street-legal Low-Speed Vehicles, so you can drive them on La Jolla roads with posted limits up to 35 mph. They are not allowed on beaches, sand, or boardwalks.
Drivers must be 21 or older with a valid driver’s license. ID verification and the rental agreement are completed online before pickup, so there’s nothing to sign in person.
