Yes. You must have a valid driver's license and be at least 21 years old to rent. All drivers must sign our rental agreement before pickup.

Yes, but every driver has to be added and verified before they drive. Each additional driver must be at least 21, hold a valid driver's license, complete the same quick ID check you did (license photo and a selfie), and sign the rental agreement in their own name — so they'll each need their own email address. You can add drivers yourself from the rental link we text you after booking. Anyone who hasn't been added and verified is not an authorized driver, and letting them drive breaks the rental agreement and voids insurance coverage for any accident.

We accept all major credit cards through our secure checkout. Your rental total and a refundable security deposit are charged at booking.

Free cancellation up to 10 days before your rental start time. After that, the rental fee is non-refundable.

We deliver directly to your hotel, Airbnb, or address in Pacific Beach, Mission Beach, La Jolla, Ocean Beach. Delivery to Campland on the Bay is free. All other areas are $40 for delivery and pickup.

Standard delivery is after 9:30 am and pickup can be arranged as late as 8pm. We coordinate the exact time based on your reservation and arrival/departure times from San Diego.

By 8 PM on your last rental day, or by 8:30 AM the next morning — whichever works better for you. Please have it fully charged with the charging cord left with the cart. Returns after that may be charged a flat $100 late fee, so if you're running behind, text us at (619) 431-3160 and we'll usually work with you.

The cart stays with you for your whole rental — there's no nightly drop-off. Keep it parked wherever you're staying and plug it in overnight so it's ready each morning. You only bring it back on your last day.

Yes! All our carts are fully registered and street legal in California. They can be driven on roads with speed limits up to 35 mph.

Our carts have a top speed of 25 mph, which is perfect and legal for San Diego beach neighborhoods with speed limits of 35 mph or less. We recommend driving 20 mph or less to enjoy the view.

The cart is fully electric and charges from any regular household outlet, no special equipment needed. Plug the charging cord into the cart, then into the outlet. The cord we include is 50 feet long, so it reaches from most driveways and parking spots. A full charge takes about 6 to 8 hours, so the simplest routine is to plug it in overnight. Please return the cart fully charged on the morning of drop-off, and leave the charging cord with the cart. A cart returned with a low or empty battery may be charged a flat $100 charging fee, and a lost or damaged cord is $100. If you can't charge it for any reason, text us first at (619) 431-3160.

California's child passenger safety laws apply in our carts exactly as they do in a car — the same standards you'd follow driving your own vehicle apply here. We don't provide car seats, so please bring your own.

A full charge typically takes between 6 and 8 hours. We recommend charging the cart overnight to ensure it's ready for use. If you are returning the cart in the morning, please ensure it has been fully charged prior to drop-off.

Yes! All carts are $160 for the first day and $130 for each additional day plus sales tax. If you plan on renting from us for multiple weeks then please reach out to see if we can provide an additional discount.

A $200 refundable security deposit is included in your checkout total. It's refunded automatically after you return the cart in good condition with no damage.
