Yes — our carts are CA DMV-registered, street-legal Low-Speed Vehicles, so you can drive them on PB roads with posted limits up to 35 mph. They are not allowed on the Ocean Front Walk boardwalk, the sand, or the bike path.
A street-legal cart parks anywhere a car legally can — metered spots, lots, and legal street parking — and fits the tight side streets cars can’t. Just follow the posted signs and keep off the boardwalk and sand.
Drivers must be 21 or older with a valid driver’s license. ID verification and the rental waiver are completed online before pickup, so there’s nothing to sign in person.
